Compass Hospice and Arcadia Assisted Living Facility of Denton are proud to announce a new collaboration as of August 1st, that aims to provide Caroline county residents with the option to receive residential hospice care close to home.

Veteran Suicide Awareness Month is a time for reflection, education, and action.

Compass will be offering their three-day training session for any individuals interested in becoming a patient care volunteer.

The spotlight will shine on compassion and style as Compass and Compass Closet presents a remarkable Fashion Show in support of hospice care, grief support services, and supportive care throughout Caroline, Kent, and Queen Anne’s counties. This exclusive event will take place on Monday, October 16th at Prospect Bay Country Club. Doors will open at 11:00am. This promises to be an enchanting afternoon filled with fashion, community, and a shared commitment to enhancing the lives of those in need of Compass’ services.

Camp New Dawn registration open for campers and volunteers

Compass will be offering their three-day training session for any individuals interested in becoming a patient care volunteer.

Compass’ Grief Services team will be hosting a variety of different support groups and workshops coming up. One of the critical factors in healing is the support of other people.

On Friday, January 27, 2023, Compass will host their annual Gala at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in Stevensville from 5:30pm-10:30pm.  This is their premier fundraiser to support hospice care, supportive care, and grief support services in Caroline, Kent, and Queen Anne’s counties.

On December 17, 2022 Jake and Vickie Sizemore, owners of Belly Bustin Grill food trailer, hosted their annual Holiday for Hospice event to benefit Compass. At this year’s event they raised over $11,000 to support Compass’ hospice care, supportive care, and grief support services throughout the Caroline, Kent, and Queen Anne’s counties.

Not My Child QAC 2.0 has generously donated $7,500 to continue to support Compass’ mission and outreach within the community.

As the COVID-19 rates are decreasing we have updated our visitation policy.

Not My Child QAC 2.0 has made a $2,500 donation to Camp New Dawn, a grief retreat hosted by Compass for children, teens and families who are struggling with the loss of a loved one.

The Reade W. & Mary P. Corr Foundation has made a $100,000 donation to Compass, a nonprofit that provides hospice, palliative care, and grief support services.
