Compass’s Gala to be held on January 26, 2024

STEVENSVILLE Compass is thrilled to announce its upcoming gala event, slated for Friday, January 26th from 5:30-10:30pm. This elegant evening aims to raise critical funds in support of hospice care, grief support services, and supportive care within our community, featuring an exclusive live auction offering remarkable items.

This black-tie optional event will be held at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, which was chosen for its expansive views of the Chesapeake Bay and award-winning farm-to-table cuisine. The 2024 Gala will begin at 5:30 p.m. and features cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, followed by a formal seated dinner, live auction, and more. After dinner, Sinatra Vocals will perform the Great American Songbook, and be sure to get the crowd on the dance floor!

In addition to an evening filled with fine dining, live entertainment, and opportunities to contribute to the vital services provided by Compass, attendees will have the chance to participate in a thrilling live auction.

The live auction will showcase an array of exquisite items, including:

·         Trips to Pinehurst, NC and Las Vegas, NV

·         Wine Package

·         Local Restaurant Experiences

·         Hunting opportunities in Chestertown & Wye Mills

·         And more amazing items!

"This live auction is not just about these amazing items and experiences; it's about creating a lasting impact," stated Lexy Mollica, Website & Communications Specialist at Compass. "Every bid signifies a step towards improving the lives of individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses and loss within our community."

Funds raised during the live auction, along with the gala's proceedings, will go towards hospice care in the community, bolstering grief support programs, and expanding supportive care services to more individuals and families throughout Caroline, Kent, and Queen Anne’s counties.

Join Compass on Friday, January 26th as we come together to bid generously and make a significant impact while enjoying an evening of philanthropy and compassion.

All proceeds benefit hospice and supportive care, as well as our grief support services for our tri-county area. No one is turned away for inability to pay. In addition, grief support services are provided at no cost to any member of the community, regardless of hospice involvement.  For 39 years, our dedicated staff have continued to provide comprehensive, professional, and compassionate support to people living with a life limiting illness, and those learning to cope with the death of a loved one. They hope you will join them in supporting the Gala and helping Compass to continue their mission.
